You call Blast City home. More than a home it is base camp for your expeditions into Calamity. As a Tracer you spend all your time digging for, and working with ancient technology known as “Traces of the Past”, also known simply as Trace, that is buried deep underneath Calamity. Whether its from pure intellect or dumb luck you are one of the few people capable of getting the Trace to function normally.

Equipment: A Battery with 10 Charges, a Makeshift Trace Pistol, a solar Charger +10, a broken piece of Trace with no apparent use, and a belt pouch containing 10 gp.

Special: Tracers Honor

Tracers are always battling over the newest finds, and good locations, but there is an unwritten code among them. This code shows itself in many different ways. You can always find room and board with fellow Tracers. If you are in a tight spot and put out the call other Tracers will come help. This goes both ways, and if you refuse to help or shelter a fellow Tracer you’ll find be shunned, if not hunted, until you are back in good graces.


Trace Expert
You familiarity with Trace has allowed you to react faster and think quicker in battle while using Trace.

  • You gain Proficiency with all Trace.
  • Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
  • When you use the Attack action and attack with a one-handed weapon, you can use a bonus action to attack with a charged ranged Trace one-handed weapon you are holding.
